Before You Contact Rock Solid LVP
You do not need to have anything figured out before you call. That said, a few details help us give you useful answers on the first conversation and make the in-home visit more productive:
- Which rooms you want done, and a rough idea of the square footage if you know it.
- What is on the floor now — carpet, tile, laminate, sheet vinyl, or bare concrete.
- Whether you have picked a plank. If you have, tell us the brand and product so we can review its installation requirements. If not, we can point you in the right direction.
- Your timeline. A closing date, a move-in date, guests arriving, or a trip north for the summer all help us schedule.
- Condo or HOA rules. If you live in a condominium, find out whether your association has a flooring or sound-rating requirement.
- Any history of water problems such as leaks, flooding, or musty odors under the current floor.
Photos are welcome. After you submit the form, you can reply to our follow-up with pictures of the rooms and existing floors, which often lets us answer early questions before the visit.
What the Free Estimate Includes
Our in-home estimate is free and carries no obligation. We measure each room, note doorways, closets, stairs, and transitions, look at the existing flooring and how it will come up, and check the slab for flatness and signs of moisture wherever it is accessible. We talk through plank options, click-lock versus glue-down, underlayment, and trim. Then you receive a written estimate that itemizes removal, floor preparation, installation, and finish work, so you can see exactly what you are paying for and compare it fairly against any other quote.
If we find something that changes the plan — hollow tile, a badly uneven slab, moisture concerns — we explain it on the spot and show you what we are seeing.

How quickly will you respond to my request?
We return calls and form submissions as soon as we are off the job site, usually the same day and almost always within one business day.
How far out are you scheduling installations?
It varies with the season. Winter and spring are the busiest months in Southwest Florida, so booking a few weeks ahead is wise. Summer typically has more availability, which suits seasonal residents.
Do I need to be home for the estimate?
Someone needs to give us access, but it does not have to be you. We regularly meet property managers, home-watch services, real estate agents, and neighbors on behalf of owners who are out of town.
Do you offer estimates on weekends or evenings?
We do our best to work around your schedule. Let us know your availability when you call or in the project details box and we will find a time.
Is there any charge if I decide not to go ahead?
No. The estimate is free and there is no obligation of any kind.
